Critical Role of Temperature Control Systems-Expansion tank

Expansion tank, also known as a coolant expansion tank, primarily functions to assist in regulating the coolant system through the principle of thermal expansion and contraction. When the pressure in the cooling system increases, the expansion tank absorbs excess coolant. Conversely, when the pressure decreases, coolant from the expansion tank is drawn back into the main coolant reservoir.
